Welcome to my creative corner! I've been painting since my childhood, and it has always been my happy place. I would spend hours sketching with colored pencils, turning flowers and cartoon characters into my pals in my mind.
During my school years, I had the enjoyable opportunity of being the editor for our weekly newspaper. It was incredibly fulfilling, always creating something fresh and exciting.
Now, when I paint, I feel like a carefree kid again. My imagination goes wild, and I can express my stories through my art. Nature, especially the sea, the sun, and plants, is my ultimate inspiration. They fill me with joy, and I can't imagine life without them.
As my kids grew up and moved out, I suddenly had more free time on my hands. I got into reading a lot and picked up macramé as a hobby. But then, I had a thought: "Why not revisit my childhood love?" So, I started taking private lessons from artists, playing around with pencils, watercolors, and oil paints.
Slowly but surely, my little hobby turned into a full-blown passion, and I found myself painting every day. I began crafting pieces on request for art enthusiasts and, at the same time, working on a collection of paintings for my very own exhibition.
Today, I create semi-abstract landscapes, and I'm really into adding birds to my art – they truly liven up my paintings. This journey is just starting, and I'm loving every bit of it.
